Cost and Profit Margin

Hi community,

I am looking to see if I can get documentation on Cost and Profit Margin work in native Sales Quotation in Cloud for Customer. I followed the help file and I think make the appropriate configuration in price strategy. So far I was able to see how I can enter estimate cost manually, but unable to see how profit margin get calculate. I would appreciate any tips.
