Project requirements.
I have a customer using PS to build site shelter/antenna combos.
The projects are quite simple in regards of WBS (only one), the requirements are more on the network.
In the network we will find 2 types of materials:
• Purchased materials
• Assemblies (made from purchased materials)
All these items have an on-site requirement date. Date at which the assemblies and the purchased parts have to be on the construction site.
All parts purchased (regardless if in assemblies or not) are first delivered to a plant (DC) where they are stored (and in some case assembled) before being shipped on location.
The network must be complete before any shipping to the construction location, as in no parts missing and assemblies are completed.
We have to use a delivery to pick all the parts from the DC and send them to the ship-to location (construction site)
Once this is done the project is complete.
ISSUE:
Our issue is around the assemblies, currently today they do not use assemblies in SAP. All the parts for the assemblies are flagged as (pre-assemblies) and the required date is equal to: required date – 10days (time to assemble).
This is a manual process which implies managing multiple required dates. We would like to know if assemblies can be used instead with a BOM.
It is important to note that the BOM varies from project to project and would need to be maintained at a project level.
Hi Sakthi,
Are you using DI API? Can you share the codes?
Hi Leon,
SP1 is as old as it gets.
Here's SP3 Full Build:
https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100009989492010E/cr2008_sp3_fullbuild.zip.
Here's SP4 incremental:
https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100008782452011E/cr2008sp4.exe
First uninstall any CR 2008 versions you might have > Install SP3 Full Build > Install SP4.
From there on you can also go ahead and install SP7 from here:

Hi Uli,
What is the logic for suppressing unwanted rows?
If you could paste that here, I can suggest a count formula.

Indranil,
These questions will be answered when you read the theory about pricing.
1. VK11 - manual creation of condition records (master data)
2. Read pricing configuration
3. In sales order, Tab Conditions - both header and item level. For more detail button "analysis"

Hi Stefan
Thanks a lot for your reply. We are making a document. We are putting our requirements together, then what is available in SAP mill.... Coming Tuesday we will send you the document. We may need more help from your team to understand what mill can offer.

There is an option to reset the value in input control. Before refreshing you need to reset the input control.
Right clicking the Input Control icon in the table header reveals a menu containing a reset option.
Thank you for your idee.
I am going to look in too it next week.
Shariq - I didn't do the installation but our DBA did and following the guide we didn't experience any issues
Could you check out the recordings at
Official Product Tutorials – Integration Option for Microsoft Sharepoint Software
There's an Administering IOMS section; I know these tutorials helped us with this project.
At least one of the 3rd-party Crystal Reports UFLs (User Function Libraries) listed at http://kenhamady.com/bookmarks.html allows you to do that.
Chris,
It sounds like you really know the Adobe software and the integration of ADS in SAP.
We are evaluating it now. We used DocOrigin with a non SAP ERP system for the last 3 years, originally bought it to replace the sunset Adobe Central product that had been used since the 90's.
DocOrigin can import XDP templates so they are pretty much interchangeable between ADS and DocOrigin. We generate over 150,000 interactive pick and pack tickets a day ( 300,000+ total) and this is growing to over 500,000 by Q2. We created the packing ticket on ADS and then used the XDP to create a template with DocOrigin. We merged an XML test file (batch of 100,000 average two page pack tickets). The ADS in on our Dev server using CPU with 8 cores and 32 GB memory. The DocOrigin was on a Dev server with 2 cores and 8 GB memory. ADS produced an average of 2,678 PPM and DocOrigin produced 8,057 PPM. We used the same XML file and the forms templates are the same. Since we own DocOrigin and ADS is supported by SAP/Adobe, we will continue to learn ADS. However, with the performance difference we will most likely use DocOrigin for the pick and pack tickets. We are already struggling with keeping up with the demand in shipping. We need the speed. Other than the speed ADS looks like it can do everything we need for output. We have not tested the fillable forms on ADS yet. DocOrigin can also create fillable HTML and PDF however we have not used this in production, we only played with a couple of sample forms.
Thanks again for your input it was helpful.

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to SAP wms and we are now anticipating the implementation of WMS module by this coming next year. I would like to ask some questions regarding to this on what are the tcode used for logistics and it's instructions. Btw, we are handling finished goods. Hoping someone can answer my question and thanks in advance God bless.
This is a manual reset and the users has to reset maually before they refresh.
Is there any settings that will set to default value in every refresh, with out manually resetting.
Thank you Azhar and Hareesh.
I bet he may ask her about workflows. Is that not enough?
